I might be completely off course here because I am making the assumption that head-fi depends upon advertising revenues to fund it’s servers, software, bandwidth and staffing costs etc.,
A subscription model would mitigate these pressures.
I am all for targeted advertising on a website such as this because I love new products ….
But it could possibly rein in some of the sanctimony exhibited by some manufacturers on this website.
