Old bike, new forks! πŸ€ͺπŸš΅β€β™‚οΈ

Really this blog is just an excuse for me to write down any old crap for my own entertainment.

Possibly some friends may cringe if they appear in a non-anonymised picture I take, but apart from that what harm am I doing?

And most of the stuff other people talk about I find, generally, considerably more boring than this imo..

So, right after – that evening in fact – pretty much coming last in the first enduro of the season (albeit on my YT jeffsy because my privateer was in a sorry state) I purchased some Fox 36 forks – 29 inch wheel – from www.chainreactioncycles.com to replace the existing Fox 34 forks – 27.5 inch wheel.

What a great upgrade that was – the steering is now damped – it was twitchy before – and the larger front wheel certainly provides more confidence on the sketchy descents. The fork is every bit as plush as the Lyrik on my privateer and pedal strikes are massively reduced now it’s a mullet.

Lovely. I now have a spare bike I want to ride. And it’s almost as slack as the privateer!

But check out the seatpost angle. πŸ˜₯ Not much I can do about that.
