When someone dies (and a lot of people are doing that at the moment) who is worthy of a mention in the newspaper, unless se is a complete cad, they are always remembered as something like:
“a devoted father”
or
“a loving wife”
NEVER
“a complete twat”
or
“a selfish bastard”
I’d like to be one of the latter I think. It just makes me smile. π
So, I’ve had a little think, and although I’m not planning on shuffling off this mortal coil (a great band by the way) any time soon, you never know – plan for the worst and hope for the best and all that.
There is always a pilot profile in one of the paragliding magazines that I get and the last question is: “How would you like to be remembered?”
Well, apart from the obvious quips (see above) that spring to mind my answer would be “He had a good time”.
So that’s it folks – the meaning of life ….. have a good time!
