Title shamelessly stolen from @x
This post is an elaboration of a tweet I posted recently whilst walking the dogs earlier this week.
Some might call it shilling.
By way of background, I dabble in crypto, but only layer 1’s with what I think are good fundamentals/vision and I never use leverage.
Iota
A while back – and you can see from my posts on my website in earlier years – I was a big fan of a crypto called iota.
Fortunately I managed to exit my position in iota without it “eating my lunch” on it’s last little upturn and since then I think iota has lost its way – my last post on iota is here …
Radix
My first post about radix is here and I’ll try not to repeat myself.
I have been through all the angst associated with investing in crypto when I thought I’d lost a significant wedge of money with my investment in iota. Learning to lose is a critical part of becoming a long term investor in my opinion, and so it was a lesson well learned with the added twist that I didn’t end up losing anything.
So my iota bag ended up in radix and therefore I lurk from time to time in the official/unofficial radix telegram channels.
And all the angst I have been through with iota is reflected in there…
Which is why I posted this ….
Whilst walking the dogs this evening I made a couple of mental observations about #radix. In the official #xrd telegram channels there are people who need reassurance from @fuserleer (a/the founder) that:
1. there are sufficient resources to complete the end game #xian (a blockchain trilemma solution), and;
2. that #xian is practically possible.
I’m comfortable on both counts as I believe that Dan:
1. probably has sufficient resources in his own right (like me he was an early #btc adopter) to lock himself away in a room, and;
2. if everything #radix went tits up tomorrow, get #xian (renamed?) completed as a matter of professional pride.
Whether you consider this a prudent investment opportunity is down to your own risk appetite.
But I can tell you that if a very wealthy entity wanted to make some serious money all they would have to do is some simple due diligence to assess whether #radix is more than a simple dogecoin (other meme coins are available) and put some serious money behind it and the price and market cap would rocket…
If @elonmusk gets wind of this I don’t think it will be coming back to earth soon.
