A little protest

For the June 2025 LGBTQ+ “pride” festivities, as a far-right racist bigot, I found myself feeling a little bit annoyed that they were having a whole month in Sadiq Khan’s London to celebrate their weirdness ….

“Fuck that shit”, I thought and then immediately I wanted to buy a t-shirt expressing this feeling and bought one online ….

Needless to say it was overpriced and underwhelming when it arrived …

I thought I could do better ..

… so I dusted down my “corel painter” software and handwrote the words of the design in what I thought approximated to the pride pastel colours and made my first t-shirt using the inkthreadable.co.uk print on demand service ….

I also setup fuckthatshit.store (which currently redirects to gilesmorris.online and I will, one day, get around to migrating the shop to the fuckthatshit.store domain as this is easier to remember!).

Needless to say I have largely been my own customer as this sentiment, although I think shared by many for all sorts of different reasons, is not so easily expressed outwardly by wearing a t-shirt like this.

However, I have persisted and I am particularly pleased with how my “understated” embroidered hoody and baseball cap have turned out..

Sky Goats and Dingbats!

I am in a couple of groups for paragliding and a couple of groups for mountain biking activities.

The two groups I am most active in are the “Sky Goats” and the “Dingbats” and although the idea of making t-shirts for my friends has always appealed to me, what has put me off creating something for them has been the time that it would normally take ….

However, AI has made the design process super easy and got me to 70% of where I wanted to be quite literally in a couple of minutes.

However, AI, for reasons of propriety, wouldn’t let me put “fuck yeah” on the helmets and so I had to add this manually and there were a few other little niggles where I had to remind myself how to use layers and transparencies in the gimp software I used, for example, as AI fell a little short in these areas.

But what a resounding success!!

It’s not going to make me a living as I give these away, but everyone seems very pleased!!
